More Unusual

These are the more unusual things we have encountered this week:

1. Chilli con carne soup
2. A nativity scene – with two babies and a headless shepherd.  I heard Tim chuckling to himself as he set it up while doing the Christmas decorations.
3. A wooden tobacco pipe – it looks extremely old.  Longshanks found it in his archaeological excavations of our land.  He said it was in the wall by the public footpath.   He also found an old medicine bottle
4. A present from the cat – that had me staring for ages trying to work out what animal it was.  Eventually I called the children and Longshanks immediately identified it – a stoat.

Gosh, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a stoat (dead or alive) in real life.
