Stubborn Courage

I find myself fixed on the phrase “Stubborn Courage”. The idea of having stubborn courage has completely captured me and from the Monastery Ministry of Motherhood and the cloisters of my kitchen, I have decided that 2013 is the year I am committing myself to have “stubborn courage”.

I commit myself to have stubborn courage:
To stay with God every step of the way
To hold tight and trust Him above all else
To stand with those whose battles I cannot fight for them but can come alongside, support, and encourage them to keep fighting
To take the authority I have been given and use it as Jesus intends
To push new boundaries that will extend God’s kingdom

Oh! Yes! This is my year of “Stubborn Courage”!
