The Rapunzel Tower

Stuck in the frustrating Rapunzel tower

Going round and round over the same ground

Fighting the interactions of a fractious mind

I find I’ve found lost resolve

But cannot solve the mystery

Can’t bring it to pass

Can’t make it be

And a mocking ministry of doubt

Hounds me

There’s no way around it

No way out

“Why paint what cannot be seen?

Why write what cannot be read?

Why play what cannot be heard?

Why dance and act for no audience?

Why create?”

The paths rotate

Driving deep ruts in the roads of roundabout

Frustration

Created in the image of a creator

Need to create, to build, to make

To communicate

But with no receiver

A life lived in allegiance to serve

Is stuck in the rut of the Rapunzel tower

Only LOVE will let your hair down

And lead the way out
